Orthobiological Augmentation of Consecutive Rotator Cuff Repair Failure and Deltoid Dehiscence

We present a case of postsurgical deltoid insufficiency occurring after augmented revision of a failed prior rotator cuff repair. Revision deltoid repair with deltoid imbrication and orthobiological augmentation was dually performed, resulting in successful deltoid and rotator cuff healing and improved clinical outcomes.

Arthroscopic Basic Task Performance in Shoulder Simulator Model Correlates with Similar Task Performance in Cadavers

This study suggests that performance of basic arthroscopic tasks in a simulator environment may be indicative of performance of similar arthroscopic tasks in a surgical setting. This work supports the continued study of arthroscopy simulators as a potentially beneficial educational tool. Link to publication.

 

Arthroscopic Acromioclavicular Joint Reduction and Coracoclavicular Stabilization: Tightrope Fixation
